Grids

Grids overlay your design window with regularly spaced lines or dots, giving you a visual framework for measuring and aligning objects.

Rulers

Rulers along the top and side of the window provide exact measurements and let you set a zero point for accurate placement.

Guides

Guides are user-defined reference lines you can drag onto the design for quick alignment to specific positions or angles.

Snap

‘Snap’ makes all of these tools interactive: as you digitize or move objects, points automatically ‘snap’ to the nearest grid line, guide, or object edge, ensuring precise alignment without manual fine-tuning.
