Multi-Hooping

You may want to produce designs larger than any available hoop. This could be a single large design or a continuous embroidery design with repeating patterns. Continuous embroidery is similar to the ‘endless embroidery’ function available on some machines.

To facilitate the accurate positioning of designs in more complex cases, EmbroideryStudio uses a combination of:

3Hoop templates.

Where the final output requires multiple hoopings, positioning and alignment of multiple hoopings at sewing time, or repeats of the same design, can be tricky. It takes practice to obtain accurate alignment where a design requires re-hooping.

This section deals with multi-hooping concepts and covers both automatic and manual multi-hooping techniques. It also covers printing and stitching out multi-hooped designs. It also discusses multi-position hooping with sliding hoops.
