Reading Schiffli machine files

Schiffli designs in EmbroideryStudio can be opened, edited and saved in EMB file format, as well as Schiffli machine file formats, ESS and ESL. Designs can also be read and written in many other machine-specific formats. See also Supported Schiffli file formats (Supplement).

Note: Users with sufficient experience can check the physical machine functions one-by-one in the final machine file. By using the ES Schiffli FIXPAT utility, it is possible to check the stitching sequence and insert any unsupported functions. See also Punching machine files to Wilcom Jacquard Punch (Supplement).
