Licensing models for Wilcom products

Wilcom offers multiple licensing models to accommodate different user needs. These models define how users access and manage their Wilcom ‘apps’ or applications, such as Truesizer, Estimator and EmbroideryStudio.

Subscription licensing

Subscription licensing is available for all Wilcom apps including Truesizer, Estimator and EmbroideryStudio. With this model:

3Subscriptions are annual but payments may be made monthly or annually.

3Discounts are available for upfront annual payments.

3Licenses can be assigned, reassigned, or canceled as needed.

3Includes automatic minor updates and support for the duration of the subscription.

3Subscription customers also get free access to major version updates as long as their subscription is current.

Perpetual licensing

This is a one-time purchase model available for EmbroideryStudio. With this model:

3Users own and can use the software indefinitely.

3Licenses are linked to a specific user or device and can be transferred if needed.

3Includes automatic minor updates and support, for the life of the current version.

3Users must purchase major version updates. Generally, those which contain new features.

Trial licensing

Trial licensing provides time-limited access to test Wilcom apps before purchasing. With this model:

3Available for apps like EmbroideryStudio and Truesizer.

3Trials can be activated for individual users or an entire organization (for Truesizer).
