Deployment scenarios

EmbroideryHub supports both small and large embroidery production environments. It can run on the same computer as EmbroideryStudio or on a dedicated computer that services multiple design workstations.

Single workstation

In a single-workstation environment, EmbroideryStudio and EmbroideryHub run on the same computer. The workstation is used to:

3Create and edit embroidery designs.

3Convert designs to the required machine format.

3Transfer designs to the selected embroidery machine or EmbroideryConnect device.

Multiple workstations

In a multi-workstation environment, EmbroideryHub typically runs on a dedicated computer. One or more workstations may run EmbroideryStudio. In this configuration:

3The EmbroideryHub computer manages connected embroidery machines and EmbroideryConnect devices.

3Digitizers create and edit embroidery designs from any EmbroideryStudio workstation on the network.

3Completed designs are sent to EmbroideryHub. This converts them to the appropriate machine format. It then transfers them to the selected machine or queues them for later production.

Note: Design files may be stored locally or on shared network storage, depending on your production environment.
