Keyboard Design Collections

Embroidery character designs are very popular. Many embroiderers buy these from third-party suppliers. Naturally, they want to use them in EmbroideryStudio by mapping them to keyboard characters. The Keyboard Design Collection feature provides a convenient way to do this.

Note: Grade A or Grade B files always produce best results. However, most third-party embroidery character designs will be a Grade C or D machine file formats such as EXP, DST, PES, etc. See also Object recognition.

This section deals with mapping character designs in Design Library as well as the Wilcom Workspace. It also covers editing character design collections and using them as embroidery fonts.
