Sequin mode is supported in Schiffli machine format. Before you can use Sequin mode, you must select the Schiffli machine format via the Select Machine Format dialog. Laesser MST files can be saved and loaded with twin sequin information. See also Sequin Embroidery.
1Select Design > Select Machine Format. The Select Machine Format dialog opens. If you are using the Schiffli template, the generic Schiffli machine format is selected by default.
2From the Available Machine Formats list, select ‘Schiffli’ machine format if not already selected.
3Click Settings to view the presets for the Schiffli machine.
4From the Sequin Type droplist, select single or twin, depending on your machine’s capabilities. In older Schiffli machines, sequin behavior is restored if you change sequin type to ‘Single’.
5Click Save. Sequin shapes are now available for selection from the Sequin Palette. If you have selected twin-sequin capability, sequin shapes and sizes are displayed in pairs. Otherwise you have access to single sequins only.
